el 19 de Mayo

Hola familia!
I sure hope you are enjoying yourselves up where it is cold. Seroiusly. It is so darn hot I am melting. Like the forcast said, thursday was the worst. we have put comforters over our windows because it is the only way to keep our house relatively cool. We walked opened the door thursday morning and just got hit with a wall of hot air. It's getting out of control here. Well let's see, what happened this week..
On Tuesday I went to Buenos Aires to the Zone leaders' area for exchanges, and that was pretty fun. I had a very interesting story with the food there, but I think I will share it some other time haha. [Wow, thanks for sharing Joel!]

The funniest thing happened on wednesday. my companion got the giggles during a meeting that we had with the ward counsel. He could NOT stop laughing. it was the most challenging moment physically and emotionally of my life just not to burst out laughing as well. I am pretty proud of myself. That night we probably spent a good hour laughing about it. [Thanks for sharing AGAIN!]

Thursday morning the President's wife showed up at our house again. it wasn't for an inspection, but she said she was really proud of how clean our house was so that felt good. On friday we had our zone conference with the president. haha it was really embarrassing
Joel is facing north in this picture and his house is behind him.
The green roof to the left is the chapel for the Casablanca ward.
because the mission nurse asked me to read a slide with a bunch of medicine names on it in spanish and I failed pretty badly and everyone laughed.

As far as investigators and progress this week has been extremely rough. We are still seeing some pretty good progress, but it's just a lot easier to see the area's were we fall short I guess. As a companionship, we have set a lot of goals to improve this week which has made us really excited to try again this week!

Well I hope you all have a lovely day. I'm afraid that is all I can remember. Hope this week is amazing for you!

Love you all so much!
Elder Smalley
